I've actually loved this picture for years, but only now found your DevArt. Seriously, this thing's beautiful; just really well executed and really moving, although I realized on reading your summary that, sans context, I'd misinterpreted it. I thought he was comforting her. Still, wrong or not, this picture's managed to become important to me. So thank you for, even inadvertently, making something that has the ability to make everything a little bit better.

You can really feel exactly what she's feeling right now in that picture, and that's a wonderful talent. But it makes me want to cry all the more knowing that desperate, crying, wanting feeling all the too personally.
