Description I have been meaning to incorporate illustrations in an editorial for a very long time, but everything I had made seemed to complicated or I didn't have enough time or a good enough concept for it.  Then came this series!  It had a great 50s flare, but it lacked a little whimsy in my eyes.  I loved the daisy jewelry we used throughout the editorial though, and I have a fairly large collection of them myself, so I decided daisies were the perfect addition! All of the daisies were drawn with a tablet referencing vintage 50s and 60s daisy pins, earrings, etc.   I don't even want to discuss how long this series took to put together with the retouching, drawing, and designing in it, but I'd like to think they were worth it

Love this series and the 40s -50s feel of them.  Great lighting, posing, angles--the works and Katie was the perfect model for the concept.  Well done!

Thank you very much!  I don't do retro photoshoots very often, but I was really happy with the feel of these!
