I have been meaning to incorporate illustrations in an editorial for a very long time, but everything I had made seemed to complicated or I didn't have enough time or a good enough concept for it. Then came this series! It had a great 50s flare, but it lacked a little whimsy in my eyes. I loved the daisy jewelry we used throughout the editorial though, and I have a fairly large collection of them myself, so I decided daisies were the perfect addition! All of the daisies were drawn with a tablet referencing vintage 50s and 60s daisy pins, earrings, etc. I don't even want to discuss how long this series took to put together with the retouching, drawing, and designing in it, but I'd like to think they were worth it
