Muahaha!
So I *finally* got my hands on some copic markers... something I've been wanting for ages! I planned to start using them in class, but who said I was patient to wait till next week? So I went adventuring with them, and made a bunch on mini drawings.. all tests, of course...
This was the first one I was happy with, even though the scanner bought up many shadows you can't really see on the paper... go figure. Her face looks a bit messy, even though looks very smooth on the paper.
My set is only a 8 color Ciao Markers one, so I'll be very limited there. But it was fun to mix them and see what happened. Copic users out the are more than welcome to critic and help me out... I'm all ears!

Love the drawing, but Either you need to work on your copic skills or your copics were drying out because these set of colors should have blended better with each other

Aww, thank you! I'm still learning from them... my set already have a skin color marker, but I found out that mixing it with purple and brown (after I saturated the paper a lot), they blended very well together... and got much more depth to the drawing. I still have to learn to make them look more soft though, haha!

nice! I'm having difficulties using copics if its realism...I dunno why lol XD

I'm finding the copics most tricky to use... things go very well at the start, them, all of a sudden, BAM, it gets *too* much. haha!! I wonder if markers work diferently, depending on the brand... I believe so... the ones I got don't blend as well as I hoped, but I'm still very happy witht he results... more excuse to practice!
