History:
Ammon's parents were carefully selected to produce a loudly colored dragon-hunter, that embodied everything that the Nordanner breed stands for. The Tiger Roan colt was born at an Alerian stud where later he was auctioned off to the public. Ammon was bought by a private Alerian owner to be the family horse, but also used him in the dangerous, but thrilling sport of Dragon Hunting to collect trophies and be paid a bounty by the Alerian government. The owner was a strict one, with questionable training methods, but Ammon blindly trusted in his human and did well under the pressure and therefore captured many serpents in his team of three. At 12 years old, a tragedy occurred when Ammon's owner was knocked off the stallion's back during a hunt and fatally injured by the enraged dragon. He died on the spot. The owner's friends immediately grabbed Ammon's reins as he was the most valuable thing there and dragged him away from the scene before anyone else could get hurt, stopping to defend themselves when necessary. Ammon himself suffered serious burns that the grieving family could not afford to treat, so he was traded away for supplies. Diamond Vale's friendly Alerian spy insider and saint, Rohan Corday, took in the damaged horse to rehabilitate it. He immediately contacted Diamond Vale and arrangements were made for the stud to be transported to our facilities once he had recovered. When he arrived, we were delighted to see that the burns were perfectly healed as if they were never there - perhaps due to some Alerian magic? - and did not greatly hinder his performance, although his muscles were obviously underdeveloped. Ammon was placed on a special diet and exercise program to get the excess weight he had put on off and to begin rebuilding the proper muscle mass to condition him for our purposes - the D-F-S ! With a nice haircut, some customization and extra TLC for the A-Man, we expect him to transfer into special training nicely and should be in the DFS soon.
