Description On a whim I decided to do a facial structure light/shadow test. What better way to experiment than with dear Gilbo? XD For the eyebrows I ACTUALLY had to pull up a picture of Philipp Lahm (defender for the German National soccer team) because he had such prominent eyebrows. LOL.

It's been SO LONG since I've drawn fanart, and I just realized I didnt even make a Hetalia fanart yet, so consider this as my very first one! Gilbo~

This was actually really fun!! I think I'll do a set with the Bad Friends Trio. So coming up next: Antonio~!! Then France!

I was listening to "TYRANT too young - Shokotan" and the energy of that song is so Prussia! It kept me pumped!

Yes, indeed I am!
I'm not German or anything but (a) my own country sucks haha and (b) when I was younger, the person who taught me everything about football was German so that's why I've come to love the German team

Wait, that's not a photo? Jeez, I gues you've drawn this too gorgeous for me to see that ;D No really, it's very good! If you know that it's drawn, you see it at the colours, but still, the hair and his face looks very realistic Especially the shadows on his face make it look like that, and your choice of the colouration too.
I agreewith the comment saying that the hat seems a bit out of place, but oh well, these are the little things you see only when the picture is already drawn^^

I really liked your decision to color the eye scarlet - the orb of color is a really stark contrast against the rest of the coloration. He has rather pouty lips here ~ Also, his hat and expression remind me a little more of Holy Roman Empire than Prussia, but then again he does have other dimensions rather than the persona that he projects. I adore the Bad Friends Trio so I'm looking forward to the other art as well :3 Good job with the piece here, it has a really well established mood.

The hat is definitely HRE; maybe I shouldve chosen another color. But I was so ready to finish the picture that I didnt think twice about it!
