I drew these during my California holiday, like many other drawings , but I'm lagging behind with scanning them.

Lower left: the little thief is learning some magic, but as I was drawing it, I realised *SPOILER ALERT* he's probably going to stay a muggle in the story. It's his dream to become the world's greatest sorcerer, but I'm a mean author, though, so naturally, that dream is not going to happen [insert evil laughter]. Khorrek needs to learn he can be awesome and loved without magic.

Last drawing shows him solving a puzzle box (which ended up looking like a Rubik's cube). That will stay in the story, though it's planned for book 3 - and book 1 still isn't finished. I'm working hard on his arc though, and that's almost done, yay!
These were all drawn 4:30 in the morning, because I handle jetlags so well...
