I have viewed almost all of your lineart coloring projects. I was wondering if you could make a tutorial for GIMP users on how to give the horse a texture look. Which makes the horse more realistic and not the smudged smooth look. If you could, that would be great.

I've been running into the same problem. If I need to, I get round it by avoiding the smudge tool at all costs, or just using the size 3 if I really need to smudge.

Ihaven't got the GIMP software...so I can't give advices or tuorials...
But maybe you can try to read my "how to make a horse" tutorial, I think some tips could be used with other softwares too
