For ~Golddragon85 , as always.
Blood and Jowan go together like chocolate and peanut butter. I think I came, just a little, from doing the incised rose and blood smears. MMMMNNNNNNG…
Never drawn Alistair before, I should have done a warm-up for him, but TBH this originally STARTED as that warm-up and fuck it. I enjoyed doing that bust shot of Zev and Talae, last year, so this kinda grew out of that.
My Jowan grew his hair out a little over the years, and it is even more poorly behaved now than it was earlier. Alistair approves +50, because moar hair means moar easy to get moar grabbing. And all of that white stuff is scar tissue, my Jowan has his share of the stuff after his little stint in the Redcliffe dungeons. Poor baby.
Hopefully the color looks all right. I never know because it looks different on all of my monitors, even though I use standard working and viewing profiles. DX

JOWSTAIR IS MY TRUE LOVE OH GOD. And I want to bite their stubble, nnnnngh~ Except that, y'know, I value not having my face punched in and my hair set on fire.
The crazy thing is I was SO UNCERTAIN of the lines this time. I got a new pastel/penciling brush that I love the fuck out of, but it meant doing every little bit by hand rather than with the pen tool getting involved. Hence why they're a bit rougher and definitely less dark/smooth than usual. So YAY that you think they came out well!

Ahaha, oh man, it's several years after the game, so he's had time to grow up. XD He's still like a boy sometimes, but... definitely has a bit more piss and vinegar in him now. Still cannot handle naughty jokes, though.
And yes, it would be! Or at least, it's Jowan's Oath; in the RP timeline this is for, he was recruited following his service in Denerim, so he ended up with the Warden's Oath amulet. Once he got together with Alistair he let the guy hold onto it for him, since it does have some of his blood in it and yeah, kinda like a phylactery. He figures if anyone is going to hold onto it, he wants it to be Alistair. He's such a dork. <3 And so am I, because the fact that a blood mage's pseudo-phylactery gives a templar a +2 bonus to the maleficarific CONSTITUTION stat makes me rofl.

Dudeyes. I'm working on a shot of them ready to kick ass and take names, back-to-back, and I have a decidedly non-bloody, fluffy one in my head of Jowan giving Alistair tea and getting a kiss. <3 They are truly my OTP for NPCs under the age of 40.
(Probably because she'll backstab you and execute Alistair, and because she's a political tool for her father, but IDK. I have a soft spot for Fergus/Anora, TBH. And HOLY SHIT I love me some Anora femslash, FFFFFFF.)

That said, I? Am all over f!Warden/Leliana. Because again, those seem to be done far better than f!Wardens with guys. m!Warden/Leliana is also HIGHLY relevant to my interests. Especially if he's a big burly guy and she can get him into dainty little shoes. XD
(Oooh, you know, on a purely aesthetic level, I could get behind Fergus/Leels. And I see m!Cousland/Anora so rarely, and I tend to like it because it is usually done so much better than the outpouring of prettyprettyprincess!Cousland and Alistair stuff. Why does no one want to be KING of Ferelden? I have an m!Cousland, but frankly he upsets me too much to play because he looks like the lovechild of Anders and Nathaniel Howe. IDEK how that happened.)

CHEESEFEEDINGYES. Also, Jowan is just a bitch to draw, NGL. Even mine looks kinda... pretty, though I do at least try to get that deliciously nippable lower lip in, and the glorious nose. Then Alistair just has that weird combination of long and wide and round at the same time... mrrrrr. I had a lot of fun with the stubble on him and Alistair, though. And the blood, ffff.
Oriana was actually an original Warden NPC, if you can call a character for a VG universe original, created for an RP. Supposed to be an antagonist, originally, but she ended up actually being useful. She ended up with Anders in the RP-verse after a friend's Dalish m!Warden scooped Nate up. Even then, it was just supposed to be periodic drunken sex to get Anders to shut up and stop whining, except then they actually LIKED each other (when sober, even!) and promptly proceeded to dance around and hiss at each other like wet cats to deflect from the fact.
IDEK with them anymore, I've stopped even trying to have plans.
(D'aww, that sounds cute. :3 I want to do an m!Cousland to marry Anora, except I dunno if I'd be able to resist romancing Morrigan or Leliana on the way.

HE IS. I mean, he looks like himself when you draw him, but my manga style doesn't fit him at all, and it's even hard to say that it's Jowan. I think I've never made Jowan-ish Jowan xD that's one of reasons I started to be like 'meh' when it came to draw him. Alistair is totally attractive man, and I imagine him being TOTALLY SEME with Jowan 8D AND THE BLOOD, YESSSS.

EPIC SEME Alistair is fucking hot, but goddamn, so is top-from-the-bottom Jowan just shoving Alistair back onto the bed and riding him. Especially when he leaves his boots on and lets his hair down and GROWLS. *fans self* Or just drops to his knees, claws Alistair's armor and breeches aside, and sucks him off. While poor Alistair is collapsing back against the wall and biting his knuckle.
There have been a few of those. Sadron, my very first PC, ended up falling for and marrying my friend's NPC f!warrior Warden. Talaerion went into the game without me having any concrete ideas about who he would end up with, if anyone, and he went for Zev. Then there's the Oriana and Anders thing, and before that it was Oriana and Mira, and... god. UNEXPECTED.
And nope, haven't stopped yet! 
(OKAY I WILL. XD I have also been ordered to make an f!Tabris to romance Leliana, I just... god, she would not be the sort of person Alistair would be attracted to, and I would have to try to be friendly with him while still dodging romance triggers like bullets.

For me, Jowan is SO DAMN ATTRACTIVE. And, he works well with guys and girls (but lately I'm more into Jowan yaoi than as I used to be, in Jowan het). I imagine Alistair, being a King, and having hawt tiem with Jowan.. you know, quick undressing, random kisses, SMEX ON LEGS. I'm fan of things like that, MESSY SMEX.
Lately, my all Wardens, no matter if they're male or female, ends up alone. No love stories for them :< Poor sweeties ends up all alone. EVEN MY TRANQUILS GETS MORE LOVE.

Jowan makes my panties wet, I'm not even going to try to deny it. (Greagoir also makes my panties wet. Not going to deny THAT, either.)
That said, I've never been a fan of him actually with anyone except Alistair (okay, and I have this sick, SICK obsession with Niall/naive!young!Jowan, which gets worse because I also like to imagine them as half-brothers). Lily ruined the female factor for me (that and the f!PC explosion thing), and... well, Talae had a little mancrush on him as a teenager, and Zyal had/has the hots for him, but it would just never work.
IDK, I either like Jowan with his templar, or being just untouchable and adorkable and innocent. But I would not say no to teenage!Jowan and teenage!Anders fumbling and kissing awkwardly and experimentally in a closet somewhere, just out of curiosity.
