I just recently tried using a non-photo blue pencil to sketch with, and when I scanned it with my final pencils over it, the blue was still there and I was like, "but I thought you weren't supposed to be able to scan!!" but now that I found this wonderful tutorial all is well again, hehehe.

What version do you use?

yeahhhh! That's great! but there's another way to erase the blue. Just open the channel pannel, click on the blue one>OK Adjust levels if you need to.
Save your fil in grey scale, and another time in RVB to have your new and clean lineart XD
But your technique is interesting too! I have to try someday

Have you tried removing the blue channel, changing the image to greyscale, then changing it back to RGB? That's been my method for removing my blue lines.

I have never used the replace color tool in Photoshop! It looks like it could be useful to alter colored works that just didn't turn out quite perfect in the end.

Aha! I have been trying to find an easier way to get rid of those un-needed lines without zoming in and erasing one pixel by one -.-'

Thanks!

You bet! It'll get rid of any color you select. (And, actually, the color blue in that image is very close to the color used on notebook paper.) As long as you didn't draw your whole image in light blue, you can get rid of those notebook lines in a jiffy.
