I needed a break from finals and since I used to pole vault, I decided to try a new technique and draw track/field Artemis.Enjoy!

Pole vaulting is amazinggg!! Honestly, it is one of the best things ever. You'll love it. It's a lot of work in terms of technique but the second you do your first jump, you'll never go back to anything else. Don't be nervous, I was so not fit either haha, but just give it your best. It definitely takes practice.

I had my first actual practice on the field today, (it's been snowing where I am, so we haven't been able to), but it was amazing! You are SO right! I'm a little sore, but I had so much fun!
I'm not all that good, but hopefully I can get there soon!

Oh wow, snow? That's crazy. Ah I'm so happy you liked it! I definitely wasn't any good, but I think that's what I liked about it. It was so much more about the thrill of vaulting and the personal improvement than being some olympic-wannabe haha. Good luck with it!

I love the shading on her face. I'll always look in the mirror with different lighting and different angles, but i've found its really hard to draw.

Is it fun coloring in on Photoshop? Probably a lot easier to get skin color right...

I like it because I can be a whole lot more experimental with colors. And with different brush sizes I can be either really precise or not precise at all.

That's really crash! I've only worked on Photoshop in school for a few weeks when i was taking photography. Hopefully I'll be taking CAD next year and will be able to learn some of those skills
