Description

Got a request for a hat to look like something seen in a picture on the web recently, and here it is! An ornamented tree with star topper.

A LOT of colors went into this (eight, I think), I'm not sure of all their names since I was using leftover balls from my yarn stash. They're all Red Heart brand acrylic yarns, though; I know that much. It's a bit on the small side (it's a perfect 'snug' fit for me, and I have a smaller than average hat size), but I'm happy with the way it turned out! Though all of the ends I had to weave in for all the separate little ornament puffs made me rethink my life decisions. There are something like three dozen individual puffs, it was a time consuming process.

Not my own patterning this time; I referenced this pattern for the body of the hat - I altered it at several points, but the general working is still mostly the same - and used this star ornament pattern for the topper.
