History: Serenity was born in the midst of a battle that claimed her sight. In spite of the traumatic beginning, her childhood has thus far been marked by the love she receives from her parents, relatives and dear friends. She is closely bonded to her cousin, Grace, who has taken on a role as her ‘Eyes’, guiding her when she needs it and offering encouragement where she does not.
