Very cool picture, amazing attention to detail! All the tufts of fur must have taken forever to draw.

The color scheme too is very eye catching, going from the bright violet to the warmer tan purple to highlight the side that the light strikes the figure. I saw in your gallery that it’s a favorite color scheme, and it works!

I see you’re open to/interested in feedback and critique. Not much to say on that front, but I did wonder as I looked at the picture what a painting like this one might look like if you pushed the envelope on the colors used. Instead of just complementary colors around purple, what if there were some opposing colors incorporated into the highlights or shadows.

I’ve found that a light touch of something like yellow can make purple highlights really pop in some of my own work. It can be a fun direction to explore – especially with digital art where layers make so much possible without making it permanent.

The loin cloth is the other bit that catches my eye – is there a belt? Is it just hanging? Does it wrap around? There’s something about the shading of that cloth that makes it ambiguous (or maybe it’s magic?).

Again, awesome painting – really amazing job on that fur.

I hope this comment is helpful, and good luck with your commissions!

there is a belt but between the fur that goes over it and the hand it kinda got hidden aha
