So really wanted me to draw a picture of a baby with wings sleeping on hands...I've seen pictures like that....the super cute ones of a little naked month old, profile, small enough to be helf in adults hands. its everywhere..
I wanted to make the composition different--PROBLEM: mah babeh ish onleh a torso. XD
I'm lying to myself saying that left hand is moving to cradle his bottom...
I just fail at anatomy...as seen by those weird arms...
but no matter how much I hated that baby while I drew him, I like the over all picture.
might be the shading, I never do XD
lots wrong with it but oh well.

I think this piece is worth putting some extra work in. Im not sure if i agree with adding more shadows, i like the limited grayscale cause it gives it an ethereal light and softness that reminds a viewer of a baby's skin.
ok you know the anatomy needs work and i think it is THAT that could be slightly adjusted. think of babies as chibis. their eyes are really big and their mouth's and noses are much smaller in proportion to their head...and shorter. you've got most of this down. you got the cheeks and the eyes perfect. i think you need to maybe thin out the lips and shorten the nose a little bit. but i think just adjusting the lips will improve it alot. look at a baby's picture
Your hands are excellent (i cant draw hands /sob) but i can tell you why your anatomy is off. it's the neck. here's why: a baby when it is born is unable to lift his/her head, that is why parents have to be very careful with them. this is because their neck isn't fully developed in terms of length, height and strength. so a baby's head would sit on his body almost like a chibi's head. showing his neck is fine, but shorten and thin it so that it is his face that is slumping over like that because it cannot support his head!
your arms are right in that a baby's made of curves and you expemplified that in the arms. the problem is that it isn't proportion to the rest of his body. hell yeah he has curves, but on a smallerscale.
im not sure what to do with the rest of his body...i think your knees are correct but not in the right spot since his belly is missing. Your big hands are awesome too O.O

I think this is beautiful and is emotionally touching
The concept is great. The texture is well-rendered, especially on the wings, and the shading is nice and soft. Lovely work

Despite the anatomy issues with the baby, you did its expression, the wings and its hair well. The best, however, are the hands.
That said, this needs more contrast. Push the shadows. You've got the highlights.

It's been forever since I worked on shading with pencil, so I'm rusty indeeed lol
