Description
My story illustration for the December 2012 issue of the Lovecraft eZine #20. lovecraftzine.com/issues/2012-…Excellent story by Neil John Buchanan titled "Wind Walker". A story about the Cthulhu Mythos creature Ithaqua. Not created by H.P. Lovecraft, but by August Derleth, in his short story "Ithaqua", which was based on Algernon Blackwood's tale "The Wendigo".

Ithaqua or The Wendigo it's like "Ghost or Spirit of Famine", no? I have heard and read a bit about it, but I do not remember

You are correct. They were strongly associated with the winter and coldness, as well as with famine and starvation, according to Wendigo in Wikipedia.

No they're more associated with fear and prejudice of cannibalism oh and fear of losing moral principal in harsh conditions.
