Naruto attacking Iruka for his ramen. They are just so freakin' adorable together! ;PI am still unsure why I spend so much time on fan art-- ok I do it's fun! This one took a while... Trying to get some good depth and perspective. I really like how this style of coloring turns out although it's a pain in the tukkis. I think I'd do it all the time if it didn't take a million years. Also, very very happy with the swirly chakra smoke.

A friend sent me a link for this. I'm glad he did. I love the style of coloring (even if it IS a pain, as you say). The chakra swirly smoke is very nicely done. The perspective is well done - rather difficult, too. The only thing that bothers me is the weird realism in their faces. But that's because it gives them this "possessed" feeling to me. So it's not bad, just a little disturbing. Which adds to the overall picture, haha. Naruto is especially scary.

Yeah naruto looks a little older, Iruka's mouth does make him look kinda fem, and the symbol is flipped, BUT This is still good. I like it anyway, it's too much fun and too well drawn/painted to NOT like it. Besides, there's Ramen!

I like this picture. I like how Iruka turned out, I think he looks close to form, but naruto, sad to say, bugs me a bit :\ I agree with the "he looks to old" comments, but my twist is that you sculpted his face a tad too much. He's got a pudgey face, but the way you made his chin, nose and eyebrows are a bit too shapely for a boy his age.
But besides my silly crit, I still think this is a wonderful picture. The pose is a challenging one to do and you pulled it off without a hitch, and I can definatly sense the "It's mine *__*" emotion coming from naruto XD And yes, the smoke is very, very cool

i only recently got into naruto, and after checking out other pieces, i finally see this... and laughed my ass off. that's really an awesome rendition of iruka and naruto, the look on iruka's face just cracked me up. great job, i know i'm late in adding this to my faves (i see 47) but hey, better late than never. i'll check out the rest of your gallery now, i really like what i see!
