Description
Just like my Quetzalcoatl piece, I decided to take on another god from the Aztec pantheon, Mictlantecuhtli in a graffiti style.

Mictlantecuhtli is the Aztec god of the dead, and all people that pass on (except those who died during battle or while giving birth) go to Mictlantecuhtli's underworld of Mictlan after a 4 year wait to live amongst him.

His name translates to "lord of Mictlan" and is often depicted as a blood-splattered skeleton who wears a headdress made of owl feathers and paper banners with earrings made out of human hands.
