i love the angle and the outfit. almost looks like a doll just sitting there. the little black lips are adorable and definetly gives the photo somethin special. great choice with stripes

If you believe that it shouldnt be a DD.. you can always keep that to yourself. She didnt ask for the DD she simply recieved it. Also, if you want, why not try to suggest a DD yourself. It really is that simple. That way you can have a say to what gets chosen

true I just mean that there is lots of simple photos, DD is should be reserved for works that worth it.

That is the point of stock art on DA though. Simplistic photos which can easily be used in photomanips/as references etc. There is much that could be done with this photo.. yes you are right that you have an opinion. I never said you couldnt. But saying that this shouldnt be a DD when the stock artist obviously didnt chose it to be one, is kinda mean on her special day. If you wanted to say it to someone dont you think maybe speaking with the person who featured it would have been more appropriate?
Also, DA stock is free.. its not like we (stockers) have studios, high tech cameras, professional photographers, makeup artists, hundreds of costumes/props. We do this for fun, to help other artists. At least give us that much credit.
And I dont mean to come off as rude. Just saying.

This is a stock photograph.. it is made available for others to manipulate so the crop is not important.
You are free to express your thoughts about this photo, but should be aware that it is stock.

yeah ok I agree with you but in my opinion stock photos shouldn't appear as DD, but manipulated photos. It's like you draw a sketch of Mona Lisa and someone will say that it is better than real one

I agree with you, DD's should go to people who put a lot of time and effort into their works, not something as simple as this. It's an ok picture, but hardly worth a DD, no offense quiet-stock.

So you are saying that we stock artists do not put a lot of time and effort into what we do? Do you know how long it takes to get the right angle, right clothes, makeup, hairstyle, facial expression? Do you know how hard it is to take good stock photos without having a professional photographer at your beck and call? Or having someone do your makeup before every shoot?
Does anyone even realize that half the time we take over 100 shots per shoot, and only a single one might turn out okay to post on DA?
Well now you know. And no, I am not being rude.. just be easier on stock artists.. without us, every other artist on DA who uses our free stock, would be shit-out-of-luck.
If you have problems with this being a DD dont bother the stock artist with it. MSG the gallery director who chose it. Or simply do not bother commenting at all. Comments which state that "this should not be a DD" or "Is not worthy of a DD" gets to be so frustrating at times. She did not ask for this. And dont say "No offense" because obviously you meant to offend her/other stock providers.
