yeah... i had to print this out to show my co-workers. do u have any tips for someone trying to get into this? i currently have 1 completed painting, and a another 1 in the worx

Well my only tip would be: to practice and to observe.
Observe everything around you: movements,light,perspective
and most important anatomy.
I saw painting of yours inspired with Stalker,
and its pretty good. Anatomy is OK, and colors fit together.
I think that you can be as good as the best artists here on DA
just practice,practice, practice.... and observe

How did you draw the fur
Wish i could make something like that can you tell me how

well I was too lazy to made fur brush,
so I've drawn each hair separately.
first I made base with darker colors.
than I start drawing basic fur with "neutral" color.
than i add lighter lines for highlights and darker for shadows.
and of course if you are drawing in Photoshop you have to set Shape Dynamics settings for your brush.
