Rina was stopped at the entryway of a major department store after loss prevention officials noticed the college aged woman sliding items from the store into her purse and hoodie pockets. Rina was stopped before she could leave the store and compliantly was led to the backrooms where the stolen items were surrendered. Rina claimed that most of the items were electronics and presents for her young sisters.

The police arrived and placed Rina under arrest for theft of items over 200 dollars. Rina was booked into county jail to face trial later. If convicted, Rina could face up to a year in jail and a hefty fine.
