You've never heard of Pokemon XD: Gale of Darkness, I see. XD
You see, in the game for Nintendo Gamecube (Gale of Darkness), there were things called Shadow Pokemon, which I have explained earlier in this series. XD-001 was the code name given to the unpurifiable Shadow Lugia. I'm assuming that's where Sulfurbunny got her idea to make an XD-002, because the XD code names originally come from Gale of Darkness.
