I want to report my situation here in deviantART and sure similar situation for many other people here.Time ago I wrote to a member of the DA staff after he deleted one of my works, to ask about the reason. Of course he didn't answer me. I understood he was busy searching something to delete. He didn't answer me, but casually minutes later other different man (not from the staff) answer me trying to argue with me about rules and censure. He couldn't change my mind after days so he started insulting me (ironic, he was an strong defender about to don't broke the rules here but he broke it insulting me, and he was proud of that).
After that, casually again they start deleting many of my works and so fast. One of them the same day I showed here :s .....curious....I thought.
I have the suspect that this man was the same member of the staff in his secondary profile to be hide. But of course I can't prove that, so maybe is just my imagination and a great coincidence.
By the way, I know people from the staff come here to my profile usually, not to give me a daily deviation or something like that. I didn't had yet, and after that drawing I guess I'll never have
They come here to watch what I'm doing and delete my works fast as they can. Because as so much people here knows, here you can find extreme hardcore works against the rules but still here for years. So I've made that drawing to ask to be treated like the rest.
I didn't broke any rule in my last drawings but they deleted without any reason.
I still believe deviantART is one of the best places on the net to show your art and meet other different artists, but if they leave me work and stop fucking my works.
I just try to work and show what I do. Thanks

Ironically, the site is full of offensive and anti-law stuff, but it seems to be unseen for the stuff.
Keep your work up, the art must provoke people to say something or do something, in other way it is just a waste of paper.

People censor those things that they feel guilty about wanting to do. Those who find simple nudity offensive are almost always sex-fiends themselves.

Whenever I open deviant art... I encounter amateur photos of naked girls. By amateur I really mean without any sense of composition, just closeups of pussies and assholes. Naturally I don't mind people posting anything, but I don't understand how your art would have been more provocative or insulting then their photos (Of course I don't know how provocative yours were... ). That's how I feel. You sir have my full support, not because you draw girls or whatever. But because of the story imbued in each and every one of them that brings them to life. I consider you one of the best artist I have encountered so far. One of few.

Sure, many amateur pictures without artistic sense, but here a lot of pictures like in "facebook" style, not nude, but without any artistic sense too, and not rules against that, so the problem for deviantart is not the artistic quality of the images, the problem for them is just sex

The whole censorship in DA is getting annoying. Even those fine arts, they censor. Basically, DA is a nice place to show your artworks, but if you're a person who expresses his/herself through blood and sexual theme, this place is not for you!

man...didn't they advise you to read their rules? I did a couple of times, but you know how it is...a person forgets about rules, when creating...i tend to leave nowadays my *offensive* drawings inside a notebook, that i hide reallly well...so well, i forget about it and then start another...False moralists exist everywhere and people tend to hide what they are ashamed to assume...I think your works are really cool and natural..keep creating

Congratulations, for the text, an drawings, I had problems with DA policy, and not argument with that because I am brazilian and speak very bad english. But, DA is a best local to me pos my art too.

pornography, I mean explicit sexuality, like explicit violence, it can be artistic, depends on the way you use that to explain something. But maybe explicit violence in Tarantino films is not art for you, and of course explicit sexuality in films of Michael Winterbottom is not art for you

that's the point, I don't think everything i see is art, I think everything can be art, because the topic you use to work don't make it art or not
I mean, you can use explicit sexual images as a pornography to express something, a sense, an idea, an emotion, and this is the meaning of art for me. Or you can use the same to express nothing, just to get money from the pornographic industry
Try to explain to me why a portrait (the face of somebody) or works about expression with hands are always art, no matter what they show, and why the same about genitals or sexual action isn't
This is what I think, but I don't need to change your mind, everybody is free and I feel good with my thoughts

I think work with genitals and sexual action also CAN be art but I don't see it in most of your work.
It can be technically good, like your technique is very good, but sometimes it is just used for creating porn and not art.
