I have about four finished versions of this shot and twenty unfinished versions, but I'm only going to submit this one because it came out the best imo.

This was probably the hardest shot of all of them, hands down. I just could not get my Nikon to focus on Rin! It was driving me crazy Dx I must have taken fifteen shots that failed.

The background is a notebook I got at Borders the other day, decorated with Hokusai's famed "Great Wave off Kanagawa" from 36 Views of Mt. Fuji. (I-I really like Hokusai, okay?)

I think that's all I have to say. I had to do a bit of cropping so that the notebook parts were cut out (it was a small notebook)

EDIT: doesn't quite look like this one was in focus either. GUESS WHO'S DONE CARING
EDITEDIT: Well check out what a warming filter and some contrast adjustment can do, HEYYO. Much happier with how this came out
