So what, we sneak away. Who knew that it would come to that? You picked me up and we drove for hours and glided across the city lights. I look at you with a drowning brain of alcohol and smile because you're becoming lovelier with the days. It's dark, the roads are empty, the snow is still there. We listen to the radio, i'm freezing, GRAB MY HAND WHY DON'T YOU?
All i can think of is how fucked we're going to be when we're caught, but at this moment in time, i don't even care. The sweet little somethings you text to me and the times we catch one another looking at each other across the room when everyone is right there. Sometimes we're so obvious, touching, getting closer, i think that they all know, but somehow they still don't fit the puzzle piece together. It's hard, constantly being paranoid that i'm doing something wrong and i'm almost positive you don't like me anymore until you say things like "we can't just turn our feelings off".
I just wish that things could be normal but they never will be. I want us to watch friends together and go for more midnight drives and i want to burrow into your chest during movies. I just want to be pretty for you, i'm going to lose a bunch of weight for you and get nice clothes. just just for you and cursive sums it up all so well.
