Description
Back when Berry Burst was an itty bitty baby, he had a horrible fear of the dark. It usually only bothered him when his nightlight broke, or when he spent all day in his mother's library and had to walk down the dark hallways. Thankfully, Twilight or Tempest are usually around to help him get back to a better lit part of the castle.

The metal thing around Tempest's horn base is a magic stabilizer. I have a headcanon that if a unicorn looses their horn, and by extension an outlet for their magic, they can experience chronic headaches, dizziness, or random sparks of magic flying out of where their horn used to be (as seen on Tempest in the movie). The Stabilizer was created by Twilight and Sunburst to help Tempest with her magic pains, and she usually wears it around Twilight's castle.

also! i gave Berry a little almost-white streak in his hair, to make him look a bit more like Twilight. he inherited the white color from his granny Velvet
