Description

When Rainbow Quartz first came out to her family as a trans girl she was, of course, very nervous about how they would react. Thankfully, Shining Armor and Cadence are supportive of their youngest daughter. Even if they didn't know much about it, they promised to help her with anything she needed, and learn over time. Flurry Heart and Skyla also support RQ, in their own big sister ways.

Skyla told Quartz that if anyone gave her any trouble, all she had to do was give the word and Sky would bust them up. Rainbow nervously laughed and said she didn't have to, but Skyla is still ready to throw down with anyone who gives even a funny look at her lil sis

Flurry Heart is also protective of RQ, but not as much as Sky (she thinks Skyla just wants an excuse to show off her guard training). It still surprised her a little bit when Rainbow Quartz came to her room one day and shyly asked about trying on some of the makeup Flurry had. Ever since then, the two of them always put time aside so that they can sister-bond and Rainbow Quartz can practice her sweet makeup guru skills. Even though she usually just wears mascara, she still finds it fun to see all the different kinds there are.
