Description
When my parents moved to California’s far north coast in the early 1970s, Del Norte County had three main industries: redwood logging, deep-sea fishing, and growing Easter lilies. Today, only growing lilies remains viable. That said, Crescent Cityh, Del Norte County’s seat, is California's number one crabbing port. The harbor remains active and is one of my favorite places to head with my camera when I’m in the area. This is one view of the Harbor, with fishing boats Phantom and Miss JoAnne front and center.
