Edit: So the dta is over, I'll have the results out in the next few days. (: thanks for participating everyone!ayooo, here are 3 small fruit sprouts (frouts) up for this draw to adopt contest!
feel free to post a comment if you have any questions about sprout habits/behaviour that aren't covered in the info sheet.

ENDS: Sunday, Apr 5th 2015 (subject to extension if less than 5 entries are made)
- You can make as many entries as you want, but one person can only win one sprout.
- Please comment to submit your entry! It can be in the form of a deviation, stash upload, etc!
- As for judging, rather than just looking at the finished quality of pieces, I'll be looking at the idea/situation behind the drawings more. Feel free to do simple doodles, this is not meant to be an effort heavy dta!
- Drawing just one sprout might be lonely, so feel free to draw multiple sprouts or even your own ocs interacting, whatever you want.
- Who gets to win which sprout? I'll be announcing winners of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place, and the winners can pick the sprout they want to keep in order from the top.
- If more than 15 entries are made, I'll make an additional sprout and raffle it off to the runner ups~

Well due to time diffrences I'm not sure if that is still ok, I only just woke up and I have to go to school now and won't be back till 4 pm (it's 7am now) so I think that would be to late. Thank you anyway I appreciate your help ❤ do you think you would hold another one of these any time soon?

yeah you can draw all three if you wanted! when judging I'm letting the top three entries pick which sprout they want in order so it doesn't matter which sprout(s) you draw (:

they rarely actually help with planting and whatnot, but plants end up growing better after they've been around for a while.
mostly they just harvest their plant and play around for the season and then disappear when the plant wilts. c:

Do these count as wild plants or crops?
Are they as big as the fruit themselves?

These are fruit so they're technically crops!
they can vary in size as they're spirit based creatures, but generally they do try to mimic the size of their food source. (:
yeah sprouts come and go, so it takes a bit of observation to sight them, someone who isn't as observant can easily miss them! Also some sprouts are more elusive in personality than others~

!!! little pomegranate baby! Definitely gotta try for that one. <3 Do fruit sprouts die at the end of the season like other sprouts? And when you say feel free to draw multiple sprouts to interact with 'em, do you mean multiples of the same type (like a little herd of different lime sprouts), or already existing sprouts that belong to other people, or just any random sprouts?

yeah they all follow the season their plant grows in (: although I think of it less like dying since they're spirit/plant based and more like they come back the following year looking a bit different, so I'm thinking it's sort of like hibernating and then re-emerging in a different form or something. It's all pretty loose lore so that people have liberty to make up different scenarios.
you can draw a herd of sprouts of the same type or different ones, no two sprouts look the same even if they're the same type of plant so do whatever you like with that! For this dta you're free to draw other people's or make up random sprouts c:
