I had a nightmare, and in it I was Esmeralda. I was stuck in mud and struggling to run away from a familiar shadow who was hunting me...This marks the first time I have drawn Disney Frollo (excluding stupid toons for uni margins). He has a very interesting face for sure.

Oh shit! If it's not mud I hate, it's swamp scum or water. Being trapped underwater is frightening enough.
But sticky, black, mud is also not good...

Frollo had just discovered me, and as soon as I saw the dagger, I had like a brain overload and woke up. Knowing my dreams, but, if it continued, it probably would have turned into porn. My dreams have a tendency of always ending up cheesy and bow chicka bow wow.

I love the adrenaline rush in dreams like that. Unless it's freaky fear adrenaline. But when it's just so intense and vivid it's really, really cool.

Sometimes I'm okay with fear adrenaline rush. Such as I had so many dreams with him that I have lost count. It's crazy dude, I even fear him and think he is lurking in the shadows when I walk home at night. I'm like his sister who he wants to kill. But for some reason, even when I'm scared shitless, I love the rush

I once dreamt that he was my boyfriend, and was killing people out of misguided protectiveness. I've read reviews of Halloween that explain how you can see that the fear of adulthood and intimacy are played out by Myers, who represents the unknown trauma of puberty and sex (the knife kills being metaphors for intercourse). That Laurie, a virgin, was terrified of dating and sex - Myers represented a twisted array fear associated with both (stalking, rape (being stabbed), etc).
The dream wasn't so much scary, as just a weird;y vivid rush. I agree totally that in dreams you can experience any emotion and violence in a positive way, while you'd never want it to happen in real life. Dreams are wicked cool like that.

Oh, whoa! That is quite scary! I have had quite some really strange dreams with Frollo as well. Channeling him for roleplay on a Disney website really tends to mess with your mind at times.

Oh wow, I can imagine so. I always get so deeply inside the heads of the characters I roleplay, and I have roleplayed similar characters to book Frollo... but Disney Frollo unnerves me so much more.

I don't know what it is, but I just love Disney Frollo deeply. Definitely Hellfire is a big reason for that because it shows his human side. I also just love the look of him. Even tho they made him older than the book version I love that he has a fuller head of hair than his book counterpart. And let's face it, that deep voice could melt butter! Tony Jay for the WIN!

I once had a dream with Frollo in it. Not a nightmare, but one of those really weird dreams where nothing made sense, and when I woke up my first thought was "WTF?"
But, woo, this is quite a creepy, powerful piece . . .

Frollo approached me and my family in a hotel and wanted to speak with me in private. I was gonna plan on killing him with chalk or something, then I realized I had to use the bathroom, and spent the rest of the dream trying to find the bathroom with a real-life friend of mine. When I woke up, I had to use the bathroom. WTF?
