And the papers crumple and fold-
Into airplanes that
Never land home...

Are waving goodbye.
Drew you pictures,
In my mind.
But the colours dissapear,
And turn a funny shade of brown-
That only I know.
And the city it swallowed,
Tried and tried and Tried-
It's only enough
To keep you awake for a second.
In time, you find, you'll find-
It's only enough to get better
Once you can forget her
But it keeps you awake
And all I can say;
Is maybe december is just
What we need.
Read me, your articles
On god.
And let me know if it's safe,
To tell you how I've felt inside me.
Or crucify me for feeling anything.

With this cross, and for once-
I've forgotten what to say.
