Forgive me I commented before reading the description.
I said that because at first it looks like the one to the right is enjoying the others suffering, letting them slip away in a painful manner (the wound looks fatal to me.) The victim is shocked and cannot move. Maybe because they know the attacker.

But after reading the description - maybe the one getting the knife taken away is shocked by the kindness of someone caring. *shrugs*
I like it nonetheless. Well done.

I would like to think that a good artist can create something that teases the mind in different ways to different people; this has done that I believe. Your true meaning doesn't always have to be shown, it could be kept secret until someone figures it out. But, that's just my opinion.
