Description
Tambo just arrives at his home. His body is sore from the heavy duty he did all day as one of the Lion Guard team.He's the bravest. That's his role in the team.
But because of what just happened today... he starts to doubt himself. Is he good enough for the team?
Nuka: Your leader have failed again? Brother..
Tambo: Oh shut up, Nuk... I already have a rough day okay? I'm tired..
Tambo walks faster to avoid having a conversation.
Nuka: Well, don't be mad. Everyone knows it wasn't your fault. It's because of your wimp leader that's put your team in danger, not you.
Tambo: Watch your mouth Nuk... Haki does his best as our leader. We're a team. If we're failed, it's our fault, all of us. Not just him-
Nuka: Immagine if dad didn't rush there to rescue all of you from that place in time... ohh someone could get hurt, or worse.. get killed.
Tambo walk even faster, almost run, to get rid of Nuka. But his loquacious little brother won't let his chance goes away
Nuka: When our dad was around his age. He could solve all the problems by himself, he's the true leader. Not like him. Our poor cousin Haki still need our dad to watch his back.
Tambo: ...
Nuka: Next time your ridiculous leader will lead you all to your doom...
Tambo: Will you stop it! And what do you do?! What can you give to our pride? Except for that useless rotten mouth of yours! Haki can be more than what you think-
Nuka: I can be ten times better than he is!!! Nobody ever gives me a chance to prove my worth!
Tambo: Don't you remember? You already got that chance, so many times. Do I have to remind you how you got that scar Nuk... Still angry for couldn't be one of the guards?
Nuka: DON't... don't you cross the line. You're my brother... but I won't dare to fight you if I have to. I just don't want to.
Tambo: Ha.. Don't make me laugh, Nuka. You won't stand a chance. I'm stronger than you.
Nuka: Stop calling me with that name! I hate it! I'm Nuk! just Nuk!
Tambo: Why? Our mother named you after her brother, our uncle. She loves him so much.
Nuka: I don't want that name! He's the one who almost kills our grandfather, Simba! You've known the history, Tambo. I will never want to share my name with that dead lion...
Tambo: History is a lesson to learn. Not a to be hate. We all learned from the mistakes.
Nuka: Oh well, I hope Haki do learn from his mistake...
Tambo: Don't worry, we do. And what about you? When will you learn to do something useful rather than just walking around flirting those lionesses?
Nuka: I can be useful if I'm one of the guards...
Tambo: Oh please, not again. We've been talking about this, Nuk. Dad wants you to be in our team more than anything. But admit it brother.. you do not belong here.
But there are so many other roles for you to play in the circle of life. This is not the end of the world.
Nuka: You too should admit it! That your leader will never be a good leader of the Lion Guard! Never!
I can even be the better leader of the Lion Guard if not because of that stupid rule and tradition...
Tambo: You talk bad about Haki one more time... and I'll be the one who rips that chipped ear of yours off your head!!!
Oh no.... no no no What've I done.
Tambo looking at his brother's face. It's the first time his mouth is shut... but it's not a good sign at all
His face turns cold and unreadable. He knows that he just crossed the line.
Nuka: ...
Tambo: Nuk? Oh, brother. I'm sorry. I-I didn't mean it. I shouldn't-
Nuka: Fine.. very well. Sorry for bothering you, I'll go.
I still want to keep this chipped ear with me. Don't worry, I won't tell mom.
You know what? Sometimes I really think that you will prefer having him as a brother than having me...

So here's new character, Nuka! (He prefers to be called "Nuk" though..) Tambo's younger brother, son of Kion and Vitani
His dream is to be one to the Guards and become a hero like his dad. But because of his personality and many other reasons... he didn't fit in any role in the team.
That's made him both angry and sad at the same time since that's the only one purpose in his life.
SOOOoo Guess who's always bullied Haki...

Yea... he hates his older cousin since he was a little cub. His dad is his hero, all he wants is just to be like him (Be him, actually). But the one who will take his place in the future is that crybaby wimpy cub, Haki?

I loved watching the Lion king series and this icture brought back a lot of memories. I knew exactly what the lions were off of before reading the description. It's a very clear picture and it looks like it took a lot of work. I have seen other lion king art before but this is one of the bes,t ones that I have seen. I will probably remember this drawing for awhile since if reminds me so much of the movie. You did a great job and I hope you produce more art like this one. I can't wait to see more.

I'm gonna be honest, bad attitude or not, Nuk isn't the one I'd be mad at in this situation. If anything, Tambo is the one I'd give a good pop on the backside and an extremely long lecture to. He's blind to the fact that he's doing more harm than good by only thinking of the good things that Haki does while telling his brother how useless he is.

Ironically Nuka is the nice twin in my version while his brother Sharo is rather awful with his temper though it's mostly out of frustration that he can't be like his dad and he takes his anger out on his younger cousin Nyota always bullying her while flirting with Nyota twin Zera until he actually drives Nyota out of the pridelands then lies about what happened to the pride
Unlike yours though my Sharo had no other reason besides bitterness and jealousy for what he did
But yours Nuka seems afraid he's loosing his brother and the idea that he trust Haki more must be tearing him apart knowing that Haki could get his brother killed and then having his brother treat him like that while dealing with his own issues and the fact that he hates his name to
Nuka Jr is starting to sound a lot like his uncle

I found many people oc's name Nuka mostly happen to be a good guy
so I decided to make a difference and give this character issue about hating his name.

Yeah doesn't stop the adults from spreading rumors though they see a cube named Nuka and boom evil, Nuka's daughter that I made for him also has rhetoric same issues thinking she'll be evil
and even Kiara's younger cub Nyota has issues with the pride since she looks a lot like her great grandma Zira with her stripe and cheeks
Meanwhile her older twin is always the protective muffin, she was named after kovu's mother Zera, Zira's oldest daughter

Well, while I do hate bullies with all my guts, what I like about Nuk is that he's not a bully for no reason: he idolizes his father and only wants to be just like him, so it's normal that being part of the Guard is his dream, so when his brother and cousin get in the team and he doesn't, he feels hurt and frustrated, which turns in full anger that he focuses on Haki because, in his eyes, Haki is the complete opposite of his father in every way, both physically and mentally, yet he feels he is the one who gets the place of lion guard leader instead of him just because of being the second in line to the throne. So in a way, it's very understandable to feel the way he does, even if his ways of showing it are not good and don't justify him at all.
And while I do not excuse his poor attitude towards Haki (he's taking advantage of today's situation to rub his opinion in), we have to admit he has strong and valid points if everything he's saying is true: Haki doesn't have to be like Kion, but he trully needs to make good plans, have good strategies and be able to defend himself, even if it's in some sort of way, he can't keep depending constantly on Kion or anyone else rescuying the whole team whenever he messes up, which for what we see it's more than often and can end up in a tragedy one of these days.
And let's be honest, if my brother came hurt and upset doubting himself because of someone else's failures, or worse and I had just heard that he could have died if it wasn't for my dad, I would sure be pissed at Haki too, even if it's just at the very moment and I would cool off later.
Also, seeing the amazing and adorable pictures you did of Haki and Tambo after reading this, I think I can understand part of Nuk's feelings: having a big brother who treats someone you are jealous off not only as a best friend but as a little brother, treating him better or being more supportive to him than he is with you (at least in Nuk's perspective of course) it's horrible, it's cruel and crushing. Unfortunately, I have a similar relationship (don't worry, I am not a bully XD I hate their guts and my big sibling and I never had jealousness around) so let's just say she has always neglected me for no reason, even if I tried to call her attention or love, I never got it, so when she neglected me or treated me badly, and then I saw her treating my bullies with the love and friendship I was looking for, the one that she denied to me, trust me, it was heartbreaking, and it damaged our relationship terribly to this day.
While for what I see Tambo does seem like a good brother, I can imagine that maybe Nuk sees things in a similar perspective to mine, and even if Tambo is being reasonable here, in Nuk's eyes, he only sees Tambo defending Haki and supporting him, even if he's a terrible leader (again, from his perspective), while he immediately pushes him off saying he's useless and he will never be part of the Guard, so maybe Nuk feels his brother is being an hypocrite for defending Haki for the same things he is critizing in him. Unfortunately I can see it won't end well for these two

You got the right point here...
What really made him become the way he is now is how his family (society) put him in a role he didn't want to be... and since they didn't cope his anger the right way, this made it even worse. Yeah, I also hate bullies. But just because how bad they are, doesn't mean they deserve bad things in their life.
It seems common when people see bullies get into a bad situation or facing their unfair choice of life, they just think those bullies deserve to suffer from those problems because of their bad behavior and they don't deserve kindness from others. But if we're happy to see them suffer, we're no different from bullies themselves at all.
How society act to them is turning back on them and left them with their hateful though.
If you keep treating someone like they're invisible, what they'll do is shouting louder and louder to seek attention... this is when the worse thing happen.
To the pride, Nuk is like one big mouth boy who seeks for attention, but deep inside he's lost. His personality is complex than others think.

1. When do I start to do commissions?
