Description Its Suzy from Game Grumps  as a mermaid based off a recent photoshoot  of hers. I got a little too carried away and animated it in a single day. My arm still hurts a little.

Anyway, if you want to see me draw a LOT of merms, check out my Instagram

Nice work! I should really try my hand at some animation one of these days.

Nice job on the shifting light in particular! I know it's probably the thing that took the least time, but it really helps to make the whole thing look integrated as a scene, not just a moving object on a static background.

Thank you! Animation can be a pain in the butt, but it is SUPER REWARDING when it comes out right.

That shifting light took freaking forever to get to look right and since I was using the tools wrong it was even more of a pain to adjust and edit, but yes it really helped complete the piece.

And you should totally give animation a shot. Your style would look freaking amazing with some movement.

Are you using Photoshop for your animations? I always forget that you can do that in there! Though I think you'd really only want to use it for short things like this.

I've actually been using Clip Studio Paint, but since I don't have the pro version I only can animate 24 frames. Which doesn't seem like a lot, but I that's still a lot of frames in the end.

I've used photoshop in the past but it is a lot more time consuming, but still works pretty well.
