Description
Inspired while watching " 30 Days of Night". The comic book from which the movies is based, using color very sparingly. Its mainly black and white with hints of color here and there. Please tell me if you guys don't like the resolution it's displayed at, do you prefer smaller or larger. It was hard to decide with this piece because it was so wide. This was done awhile ago, but if I remember correctly I didn't have any photo reference for any of the figures. I do remember that I had photo reference for the truck(not a car guy so I always need some reference for them).
I do have a large photo reference collection though, probably around 100,000 pics by now, of scanned ref, downloaded pics, or pictures that I have taken myself. Almost every night when I'm watching TV I surf online for reference that I may need for future illustrations. I used to take my digital SLR with me everywhere, but now I just use the camera on my phone. I also used to have a lot of reference books, but I have since scanned them all into my computer, which took several weeks.
I now also use a couple of 3D programs, if I can't find photo reference, and I can't seem to get it right just out of my imagination. I use Pozer and/or Daz Studio for figures, and Sketchup for architecture and vehicles.
BTW: I do have a folder with reference pics labeled "jumping". I just checked and it has 600 photos in it.

It's on my to do list. Have you seen the trailer for tv series? It looks amazing. I also heard the studios liked it so much their already signed for a second season.

Others have requested to increase the display size, but I think some with lower rez monitors will have to scroll to many times to see the whole image. So instead I have enabled the download feature, to download original size (6000x1718). I have no problem with its use just as long as I a given credit.

This is amazing, I love all the details in it! I think this is the perfect size for it, but it would be cool to see a few detail shots of the faces.

This is great, I mean epic-great-awesome. Maybe a larger version would make it look like a fresque, you should try it.
