Princess Takethra, at her finest! This is the second of my happy-givings to you, for the big-1000! ^-^ I hope this makes up for the lack of color in the actual comic! xDDisclaimers:
-Alright, so, for the record, GOLD IS THE HARDEST THING TO SHADE IN THE WORLD. I just thought I'd make that clear.
-I'm going to point this out ahead of time, so y'all geniuses don't need to point out the anachronism here! ;D That is, the fact that she is in drider form AND in her princessy raiment at the same time!
-I was going to say something else.... *ponders* but I forgot...

Fantastic! My only criticism is that the skin colour mismatch detracts a little bit. Her face is a lot darker than her body. I love the webbing. It's incredibly intricate and well done. The colour scheme is also very well done, the golds, reds and whites really do look quite nice.

Disclaimer: I am tired. Pay no attention to any rambling or general confusing saying talky things.
Obviously, Time wise, she'd not being wearing that, blah, blah, blah. Just getting that out of the way, so you know that I know what anachronism means. And that my question has nothing to do with that.
My question is in the details of the outfit. Let me be the first to say that I know virtually nothing about Drows (Drow?, Drowse?, Drowii?). Do Drows honor spiders to the point of using spider legs as parts of the decorative accessories?
Or is this more of a "if she went back to the colony the way she ran away and took over everything and they honored her, this is how she'd look" kinda thing?

Oh, yes - spiders are to drow as cats and dogs and bald eagles are to Americans, only moooore so! Not only do they revere spiders, but their Goddess is an aberration of one!
This is also what'd she'd look like if she could stay in the Underdark as their princess, too! Although, the 4th edition rules turned the tables on this, the drow cursed into driders are disdained, despised, and exiled from all drow society, so returning as a princess is impossible. But if it WEREN'T, refer to pic above! xD

And since we seem to be venturing into DnD which I never played, this brings forth another question that likely borders on spoilers. So, don't spoil it, k?
It seems to me that you are saying Drow are Drow unless they are cursed and then they are Driders. Soooooo, is a cursed Drow a common thing in the Underdark? Or more of a rare thing?

Rare! This is the sequence of events that befalls a person if they are doomed to driderdom!
To put it shortly, you must first become chosen by Lolth - chosen for potential GREATNESS, because of your outstanding MIGHT and EVILLL (the latter of which is considered good, in drow society)! There are a series of tests she puts you through - aka the Chwis. They test your mettle in the arena of evil, such as: your will to dominate, your power, your manipulativeness, and other revered vices. There are *tries to remember because is too lazy to find the book* about twelve of these Chwis! Takethra failed on the Chwidridera (I think that's the fourth or fifth), which tested her bravery and willpower. At this, she failed, and was then cursed!
I hope that was not too spoilery - of course, I did not share ALL that I could have! >D That will come *counts on fingers* SIX chapters! ;D
