Description I can't believe I'm almost done with high school! It's exciting but it's super scary! I need to figure out my classes, figure out how to get a steady income flowing (I can't just keep selling my stuff and doing commissions for my anime club), prom, and my college plans, along with planning by cotillion because I'm turning 18 soon!

I'm still debating whether or not I should take personal finance or just be a teacher aid for my psychology teacher. I need my senior year to be a breeze because there's so much else to worry about. Going through an existential crisis is hard enough without worrying about how you're gonna pay for college.

Also, I was considering a really nice paid internship, which pays about 13 dollars and hour, though the problem is that most of these internships are far from where I live and they're kinda boring~ they're stuff like paperwork, basic math, stuck inside kinda things. I don't like those kinds of work but the money's pretty good

I might need personal finance so I know how to take care of my money because I don't know how to pay for bills, taxes, tax returns, how to get a house, etc. (I asked my parents and told me I was too young to be worrying about it. But I'm going to move out soon I need to know this! Know that I think about it I can just drop my chorus class since I have my credits for visual arts completed) If anyone knows how to take care of this grown up stuff please explain this to me.

I'd also really appreciate any advice whatsoever about handling my last year of high school!

Your parents are kind of right, you're a little young to be worrying about some of this stuff. You should think about it but don't lose any sleep over it. As far as paying your bills, just don't spend more than you make. An internship is a great idea. They're lots of fun and they'll help you get a job because you get experience which is what the companies want.
