I like the detail of Mars; however, I believe you should've cut-down on the thickness of the atmosphere... It would've looked more realistic. I believe also some faint stars would've been a good touch; however, they would've drawn attention from Mars itself. Good effort.

Wonderful detail on the planet, how did you do it? What tutorial? Is it still photoshop?

This time I decided to go for a different approach. Instead of making the planet in Photoshop, I used 3DS MAX.

Its not cheap ($3495) and it does take a long time to master. It is, however very powerful. Its taken me a long time to learn. I dont know if you would even want it!

Who wouldn`t want to learn 3DS? ^_^ Except for the price (beside the fact that 90% of all ppl didn`t actually BUY it) it`s the most powerfull and stunning prog available.
