I had this idea of doing an illustration using the NVIDIA CG demo characters in a silly group shot. It makes me grin to look at it. I guess it's somewhat whimsical if you're familiar with them. If not, I doubt it means much.Related content

I recognize the fairy sticking her tongue out, always did enjoy that 3d animation. It was actually my first real taste of 3d cgi outside of games.

I'm not familiar with them, and I rather like it. ^_^
The fact that it's got a mermaid, a girl with very green hair and purple lips, and two, fairys(?) adds to how whimsical it is. So even if you don't know the characters, it still has a neat effect!
Sooo scince I'm not familiar with them, who are they?
