Moonlit Deluge is a 22 year old pure-blood thestral of noble lineage. She lives in Canterlot city with her human fiancé, David Johnson. She is estranged from her now disgraced parents, and is the sole inheritor of all of their assets. She is exceedingly wealthy, but does not show it at all, and despises the other pony nobles, having absolutely nothing to do with any of them.

Her estrangement from her parents is due to their methodical and systematic abuse of her throughout her childhood. Eventually, she ran away from the family home, and reported the unspeakable crimes that her parents had visited upon her, leading up to their arrest and disgrace at the hooves of Princess Celestia herself. Moonlit was taken in as a ward of the Princess, and went through extensive rehabilitation and therapy.

Physically, Moonlit Deluge is in prime physical health for a thestral mare, if a fair bit smaller than average due to malnourishment in her childhood. She is a relatively fast and very agile mare in flight. She has exceptional eyesight and hearing, but she does suffer the early stages of the Red Curse of the Thestrals, leading her to seek small amounts of real blood for nourishment very occasionally. David simply lets her feed on him rather than accepting transfusion bags donated by the Equestrian Health Service.

Moonlit's personality is fairly stable now. She is quiet and shy around most ponies, and especially thestrals of both sexes, who can understandably set off flashbacks to her childhood- resulting in her crying and freaking out. David is good at getting her out of these fugue states, and will pick her up physically and take her home to recover. These emotional outbursts are rare, however.

She does have a small and close group of friends, and is a regular customer of Cappuccino Cream's coffee shop in Canterlot. She is engaged to her human partner, and could not be happier. Moonlit is humble, and lives well within her means, donating a lot of Bits to charities to help colts and fillies out of situations like she faced in her own childhood.

She met David on a blind date set up by his co-workers, and they hit it off instantly. It was a quick romance as they both fell for each other rapidly. Now, they are inseparable and spend as much time as they can together. They are regarded as a very cute couple, and Moonlit can often be spotted giving him occasional bites and nips, a common personality trait for a thestral mare. As well as that, Moonlit has a number of other cat-like behaviours. She loves to play with balls of yarn, and will hunt mice, rats and birds. Also, ALL the pouncing.

She is obviously heterosexual, and is a mare that loves close physical contact with those that she loves. She loves the sensual things in life, massages, kisses, spa treatments and hooficure, and many other things besides. She wants to have foals of her own after she is married, and that will require specialist magical assistance as David is a human. She also likes to drink red wines, especially Cabernet Sauvignon.

No matter the horrors that were visited upon her in her youth, Moonlit is looking to the future with her fiancé, and believes wholeheartedly that so long as they are together- that there is nothing in the universe that can get between them.
