My first ever full colour digital painting, it took a while for me to pluck up the courage to embark on a project this ambitious (it's a big project for me) but I think it turned out pretty well.Related content

Ooh, this pic is ooold. I used a graphics tablet, and sketched and painted it in photoshop. The actual painting process follows the same principles as traditional painting. I don't have any of my own, but there are plenty of good digital painting tutorials on deviantart if you want to learn more about the technique

I love the soft light, the many colors, and especially the black outlines. you made them so clear, straight, but with a little bit of a sketchy look at the same time. sweet.

the mountains in the background look great too, one looks a bit like the mattehorn? dunno if u used that for reference, but it looks jus like it

Thank you! Yeah, the mountain does look like the matterhorn. I didn't intend it to be so.. I sort of drew it subconsciously and didn't realise until someone pointed it out to me. Going to Switzerland last summer may have had something to do with it.. lol
