Bah, Cloverfield made me go on a giant Godzilla rush. @_@Anyways, here is my hopefully final Godzilla sketch (which I'm calling Gojira, since I a: like that name more and b: IF they ever do another more faithful movie, that's the title they need to use).
Tried to make him look like the fearsome and unstoppable force of nature that he is, while giving him a slightly more realistic spin and also incorporate some classic elements (like the taildragging of the original costume, only the tip of that tail is mobile since he's an aquatic creature and mostly uses the tail for swimming, it's too heavy while on the land).
Full specs coming with the coloured version, which will hopefully be soon.
UPDATE: New version, with a different head and more fins on his back.

That's a really interesting scale plating pattern, if you blended this design with the Shinsai verson of Gojira & then you have a winner

I like this version. If they ever make a new, more original, looking Godzilla, it probably should look something like this. It would seem more plausible, and yet still be menacing.

Very nice, I like the 2nd version best. However, I think the head is a little small in general. I think the small head makes a powerful design look a little less fearsome.
