Seeing this in my notifications blew me back a bit.
Even being aware of, and a big fan of, how you pick your subjects, even Bethany Lee was a wildcard. Not one I'm complaining about in the slightest, of course. Hourman is a gem all its own, and I'll be honest: seeing her again from you made me dig around and--hey! I can certainly see why she'd deserve an introduction, and with such a nice, toothy smile of course
Interestingly enough, I've recently found myself quite enjoying the idea of a dusty pair of soles, evenly soiled across the zones of the sole that contact the ground, much the way Bethany here has found her feet.
I've mentioned how much I ogle at how you draw fabric and clothing. Well, I have reason now to really appreciate that talent The same goes for your shading, something I've tried (and failed) to reproduce.
On another note, I think it's nice seeing more glasses-wearing women in your gallery .

Every minute spent with an issue of Tom Peyer's Hourman in your hands is a well spent minute, so good for you, tf! Β
My gallery so far shows that my preferences lie with clean feet, but yeah, I'd be a damn liar if I denied that a layer of dust can sometimes be quite attractive on a lady's lower extremities. In particular, soiled soles and a Flower Child is absolutely a match made in Nirvana!
I know this sounds like a set phrase to parrot in this kind of situation, but try harder! This kind of skill is not something you are born with or without. It's all a matter of building experience, believe me!
I fell in love with those round, John Lennon-esque glasses the moment I saw them. They definitely add a new layer of charm to an already very charming character. Β

Looks like she'll eat me alive if I presume to take the initiative. But how can I ignore those lovely dusty toes!? I'm pretty sure those twiddling fingers are telling me to go for it!

Ah ah, don't worry, she doesn't bite! Β On the other hand, her fierce kicks are a perfect reason to be cautious while approaching her.
But to be honest, she's never hit anyone except in a last resort action of self-defense against physical violence and you aren't the kind of man who'd ever hit a woman or her friends and family, right?
Be a gentleman and she'll have no issue with letting you close to her feet. Then talk to her about subjects like tantric sex, ley lines or the magical properties of gemstones and she'll let you stay as long as you want. Β

Complimenting her pedicure? Interesting idea, just be sure not to make a fool of yourself, since Beth's concept of a pedicure was spending as much time barefoot as she could get away with (even in wintertime!) between the age of 17 and the age of 21 so that her soles would have not feared being exposed to rough conditions from then on. You can of course compliment that but I wouldn't call it a "pedicure" in the strict sense. Β

Personally speaking, I always preferred Veep Dan Quayle's spelling: po-ta-TOE. There's always been something weirdly alluring in it.
Anyway, I must say that I'm quite surprised that you find this Flower Child so irresistible. I mean, she's definitely not the kind of girl you wouldn't look at twice, but she's the classic example of person who eats counter-culture and ultra-liberal thought as her morning breakfast before her yoga session and would probably feel very much at home in the most alternative sections of San Fran.
Perhaps I just didn't understand what you were trying to say with your status posts about the things in your city that grind your gears. Β

You can bet I know, you little, filthy man!
On the other hand, I'm a tad stunned that anyone could ever hate that pretty, smiling face. Β

Hate-fucking is really more like competitive-fucking. I can't actually fuck what I genuinely hate. There's a rich satisfaction in knowing that you've carnally conquered someone when they get the inkling to roast you publicly.Β

Merci, monsieur!
I don't mind some dirt on a woman's soles either, but I know there are foot fetishists who just aren't into it at all.

Mother Gaea truly love us all. Great Job with the picture and the obscure DC reference.
It's fun do draw the a list characters but there are so many great comicbook characters that need a picture Your doing a great job with your gallery!

Someone who gets it! Cool! You know, when I saw your last journal (the one where you were asking names for a new poll) I was thinking about leaving a comment with the names of three DC gals ranging from C-list to super-obscure who still wouldn't have cut a poor figure in a foot fetish pic. But then I realized that their candidatures would have gone down like a lead balloon anyways and I went with more mainstream names.
Thank you for the compliments and may your Yin always be in harmony with your Yang! Β

Seeing the way Samus won the video game poll I could understand not wanting to ask for C list characters.
The names you gave where pretty interesting. I don't believe I have heard any one recommend Rene as the Question for a picture.
What c list characters where you going to request?

Well, since the other entries were characters respectively from Japan and Central Africa, I thought that throwing a Latina in the mix wouldn't have hurt! Anyway, my first idea for a list went like this:
- Sadie Falk (a.k.a. Jayne Sadie Payton), sister of one Starman (Will Payton) and girlfriend of another one (Jack Knight);
- Haley, a very recent character from the recent Bloodlines mini-series by J.T. Krul;
- Starfire -- no, not the one you're thinking of, the rebel commander from a Swords & Science world created by David Michelinie in 1976 (therefore years before Kory).
Now that I see my original proposals written down, I'm afraid that the C-list label is way too generous for them. Β Β
