Description
Another project I'd written that was never done, the artist just got busy on other things as I recall.
Story would have featured Roger & Jessica Rabbit coming to town to appear in a big charity music show.
Danny (from Cat's Don't Dance) is a big fan and acts as their guide.
Trouble is, he causes an accident that results in Jessica not being able to appear.
We don't see the accident but Roger is upset because Jessica almost drowned, which Danny answers "Oh Jessica could never drown" which makes Roger give him a dirty look. Danny replies "I mean the water was not deep enough for her to drown."
Danny is drafted to replace Jessica in the show but is none too happy with doing it.
The heels are killing him and keeping him off balance. And they use helium balloons for boob padding which keep trying to float away.
They make it through the number and as they leave the stage, Roger lectures Danny on being more careful, just in time to knock down Lola Bunny who then can't perform.
Leaving Danny and Roger, both in Hollywood glamour girl drag to perform "Two Girls From Little Rock" to close the show.

Years and years ago I talked to Bill Fortier the artists about a concept for a totem pole Jessica Rabbit. Would involve 3 different smaller toons. Only one I rmember was Tails from Sonic who's tails ended up as the bustline padding.

Man, it really shows how much the artist loves drawing Danny. But the curves got set in all the right places, and it's a great idea for an episode.

Yeah, you can easily tell it's Danny, but you can also easily tell who he is supposed to be disguised as.

Yep, ones filled with helium. A gag planned would have them almost float away when he first shows Roger the disguise. Mid right on the page you see him after recapturing his boobs.

True, the artist was known for their love of Cat's Don't Dance characters.
Danny as Jessica came out perfect, sexy, but you know it's painful for Danny and shows a lot of comedy potential.
