Yes it's time for another obscure bit of comic book crossdressing.
This one is from one of countless Archie imitations of the 50's.
Jonesy was released by Quality Comics in 1954, his gimmick was he wore a hat all the time.
Other than that (and some rather nice artwork) he got into the typical humorous adventures that could pretty much be used by any teen strip of the era.
And like a lot of those stories this one does not QUITE make sense.
Gertie, the Big Ethel of Jonesy's group swtches her costume for the one Jonesy's girl will wear, Juliet. But in another zany complication, Jonesy accidentally gives his girl the ROMEO costume.
Simple mistake? Or Freudian slip?
