OH NOEZ. Briarlight accidentally comes across Jayfeather and one of his lovey dovey moments with the stick. D:(Yes. I know that sounds wrong.)

Actually this wasn't a video reference haha :3 I just, y'know... like drawing Jayfeather and his stick hehe~ xD
You're not gonna meet Jayfeather (or Jaykit/Jaypaw) until like the 3rd series, but in the series, he finds this "ancient stick" that apparently is connected to the ancient cat Clan that had lived where they lived now long ago. It makes him become very, er... with lack of words... "close" to the stick. xD
It's become somewhat of a running gag for Warrior fans about Jayfeather and the stick, making fun that they're a couple, that since Jayfeather is a medicine cat and he can't have kits so he goes for the stick instead, etc. :3 And Briarlight is just another character you will meet, and even though medicine cats can't have mates, I just think she and Jay would make a cute couple x3

I'm sometimes confused with warrior couples sometimes... I'm a Jay x Briar AND a Jay x Stick fan... but some of the 'couple pairs' are kinda stupid. ie: Jayfeather and Poppyfrost. He saved her because they're clanmates, NOT because of love! Also, Lionblaze and Icecloud. That one really annoys me... because Icecloud IS SUCH A DITSY-NEEDY-HELPLESS-LITTLE-MARY-SUE! T_T She just annoys me... that couple was ONLY made because they looked into each other's eyes. Really? Lawl XD

Yeah I kinda agree with the Jay x Poppy deal. I mean, he's a medicine cat. He's supposed to help Clanmates. Especially a she-cat who's pregnant and is about to get killed by another warrior (Breezepelt)! But even though it's the same thing with Briarlight, I still think they'd be cute together (: I mean, it's obvious that he cares a lot for her, and even if it might just be his medicine cat duties, can't a girl like me fantasize a bit? (;
And I'm DEFINITELY a Lionblaze x Cinderheart fan~! <3 And it's because of VERY obvious reasons.
