A rainforest dwelling relative of the Giraffe the Okapi lives a mostly solitairy life, although the males are teritorial they will let females pass through and forage. Their 18 inch tongue can groom their eyes and ears.

Very beautiful! Whenever I visit the LA Zoo, I sit in front of the okapi enclosure at lunchtime and just watch them. It's always a fun experience.
