A return to my GTA inspired Doctor Who covers, this time based on series 11 featuring Jodie Whittaker's Thirteenth Doctor! I really love her performance, and all three of her companions, it's just a shame the series was so short after such a long wait. I hope future series push the stories and characters further.

With previous instalments in this art series, the series 5 to 10 logo fit the Grand Theft Auto style, being bold and blocky, while the logo for series 11 was a lot more whimsical. Another thing with these pieces is that I try to approach them kind of like they're a preview of the series and not an overview of the series big points. Series 9's artwork featured scenes and characters based off the trailer and other promo materials, while series 11 was very secretive in its promos, not featuring any aliens, monsters, not the theme, TARDIS, or opening. Graham, Yasmin and Ryan are all depicted as they appear in episode 1, alongside that episode's villain Tim Shaw at the very bottom. The giant spiders were creepy and looked cool so they got a place, while Rosa Parks and Alan Cumming's King James were featured for either being prominent focuses, characters or actors in the series. There was more potential within the series but I think these choices worked best.
