Description
In this room of brick and steelI contemplate the world I feel
Inner light burning bright
Outer fire burning pyre.
Can it live outside this cage
Defying time and burning age
Or die beneath colossal gloom.
Lurking fetid βneath the loom
Weaving fibres of sharp edged doom
Will it cut will I break
Or a future will I make
Dare I move outside this room
Free my soul and hope to bloom
