first official attempt at fbf animation. i hate drawing in flash. maybe i need a bigger tablet.feedback plz

I find that line qualityconsistency is hard to get unless you use the uglier alternative, the line and pen tools, which take forever to use, let alone master. Just painting with the brush tool is much quicker...

i have gone as far as making some keyframes in illustrator and tweening from there but that is so much work 0___o

Good work, but I think the hair could be retimed slightly. I like where you're going with the secondary motion, but it seems a tad off.
Still unclear about the arms and if you take another pass on it, I would add more gravity.
Still great to see your character in motion.

Okay now that I can be serious for 1.5 seconds... Nice animation and scrolling effect, his smile is exaggerated which is good in cartoons and I like the padded touches on his feet though I normally use 2 to 3 pads myself. I can't do 4 padded feet without it looking akward

If this is your first go then I'm blooming envious! Getting a character to walk in flash is actually pretty hard... You have to get all the movement right and so on.... You've done it amazingly!! I keep fighting with my flash to try and get it right and I give up because I have no patience at all! XD
But you've got it great here!! Did you re-draw each frame or used a key frame and then just edited movement in legs and tail etc?

Ouch.... that must have taken a grey hair or two! I usually always do a keyframe and edit parts of the picture and not the whole thing... because I am lazy and that's probably why it doesn't look that great. But I must say you have some patience and it pays!! It's great!!

=3 he is cuteness *reads peoples comments* O_o not everyone bobs up and down when they walk .. only people who want to. I don't bob when I walk. My head and face stay almost utterly steady. >_>; of course I've had people tell me I look like a robot sometimes when I walk 'cause I get a vacant detatched expression sometimes if I'm thinking about something and my sister says I look creepy at night especially with my black trench-coat on. ^_^; but it is a cuteness off walking animation

hehe sometimes I walk all different ways if I want to be silly. But my head doesn't move because I just walk efficiently. I like to play with my center of balance and feel the pendelum of subtle momentums swing from one foot to the other ^_^;
